Insight Council
The Insight Council is tasked with meeting the need for insight into our operations, offering advice, and supporting and contributing expertise and knowledge. Our general director is the chairperson of the Council, and is responsible for keeping the Insight Council informed of our operations. The members of the Council, who are appointed by the government, are:

- Elisabeth Björnsdotter Rahm, Riksdag member (Moderate Party)
- Johan Andersson, Riksdag member (Social Democratic Party)
- Kristina Alexanderson, professor, Karolinska Institute
- Maria Schönefeld, CEO Prevent
- Michael Tåhlin, professor, Stockholm University
Quality Council
The Quality Council advises the general director on matters pertaining to the quality of our work. It consists of the head of the Unit for Analysis and Communication, the communication manager, the Agency’s quality coordinator, and seven external members appointed by the general director. The external members are:

- Lotta Dellve, professor, University of Gothenburg
- Mats Djupsjöbacka, associate professor, University of Gävle
- Mattias Elg, professor, Linköping University

Operations Council
The Operations Council advises our management team on matters pertaining to the execution of our tasks. The Operations Council consists of the manager of the Unit for Analysis and Communication, the communication manager, a representative of the Unit for Analysis and Communication, and ten external members appointed by the general director. The external members are:
